The $12 Bentley State Limousines

In 2023, the company Nationwide unveiled a comprehensive list of twelve vehicles owned by the British royal family. Notably, the list highlighted the extraordinary value of the two Bentley State Limousines, each valued at over $12 million USD. These exceptional limos stand as the pinnacle of luxury and exclusivity, as they are the only two of their kind in existence. Crafted by Bentley with meticulous precision, these limousines were specially commissioned to commemorate the 2002 Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the late mother of Charles, the current monarch. The rarity and historical significance of these vehicles add immeasurable value to their already remarkable stature.

James Bond-Style Security

The limousines boast fully armored bodywork and glass, ensuring the utmost security and protection. Appearances can be incredibly deceptive in this instance, as the true essence of luxury and innovation lies within. For long it was the second-most expensive vehicle on Earth, however, there are now far more expensive vehicles. Take for instance the $28 million Rolls-Royce Boat Tail or the $18 million Bugatti La Voiture Noire.

World’s Rarest Limousines?

With just a duo in existence, this limo’s rarity surpasses even that of the Rolls-Royce Phantom IV, of which there are 18. The limousines feature modified twin-turbocharged, 6.75-liter V8 engines derived from Bentley’s Arnage R version. With a maximum speed of 130 miles per hour, they outshine their counterparts. The limos exceed the dimensions of a standard Bentley Arnage, measuring 2 feet and 8.7 inches longer, 10 inches taller, and 2.7 inches wider. They possess broad coach doors that open nearly 90 degrees towards the rear. The State Limousines. The limos are primarily used for official engagements and are always accompanied by a selection of marked and unmarked Royal Protection Squad vehicles along with local police vehicles.
